Sunday Music in the Park – In spite of the rain Kings Heath Prize band were able to go through the afternoon performance of music in Kings heath park, but the evening concert had eventually to be abandoned.

Scripture and Horticulture – The second of a series of lecture-addresses on gardening in relation to the Scriptures was given by Mr. J. Smith, F.R.H.S., of Kings Heath Park, to the members of the Kings Heath Baptist P.S.A. on Sunday afternoon. Mr. Smith indicated how wonderfully the Scriptures applied to modern horticulture, and reminded his hearers of many ways in which the truth of Holy Writ was established in the ways of horticulture. Specially appropriate hymns were sung. Mr. J.S. May presided. The next lecture takes place some time in December.
